The Faculty of Criminal Justice of Tashkent
State University of Law (the “TSUL”) was established by the Decree of the
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures of radical
improvement of the legal education and science in the Republic of Uzbekistan”
No. PD-5987 (the “Decree No. 5987”) dated April 29, 2020.
The faculty
aims are to train professional legal personnel who will
administer criminal justice and ensure the rule of law.
The motto of
the faculty: A
judge is a speaking law, and the law is a silent judge.
The
main principle of activity is "Equal
knowledge, equal opportunities and sense of purpose".
The future plans of
the Faculty of Criminal Justice are as follows:
organization
of the educational process on the basis of modern pedagogical forms and
methods, information and communication, innovative teaching technologies,
training of highly qualified legal personnel that meet the highest requirements
of civil society and modern international standards;
wide involvement of young people in research work, strengthening the
scientific potential of departments;
training of scientific and pedagogical personnel corresponding to
modern world standards, strengthening of the teaching staff with specialists with
high professional pedagogical skills, legal and political culture, practical
experience;
organization of educational and research work, taking into account
foreign and domestic rating indicators;
establishing regular contacts with judicial, law enforcement agencies,
human rights and other organizations for training students and their further
orientation in the profession.
The faculty
of Criminal justice has a Dean, a Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, a Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs, Deputy Dean for International Cooperation and Scientific and Innovative
Activities, a methodologist, a dispatcher
for academic Affairs, and clerks.
The faculty
of Criminal justice includes the following 4 departments:

of Judicial, Law Enforcement Agencies and the Bar;

of Forensic Science and Forensic analysis;

Legal Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
senior researcher of the Tashkent State Law University, teacher of the
Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Tashkent State University of
Law, senior lecturer, acting associate professor, head of the Department of
Judicial, Law Enforcement Agencies and the Bar.
Areas of scientific activity and achievements:
Author of more than 30
scientific works, including 1 monograph, 3 textbooks, 1 commentary, more than
25 scientific and practical articles.
